Recycling Screening System

The Task

A recycling company in Norfolk required a screening operation to ensure the quality classification of it glass fibres.

The Solution

The result was a Vibrecon GV5 with 2 decks constructed in stainless steel, grade 304. The Vibrecon sizes glass fibres at 750kgs per hour, the top deck discharges any oversize and the bottom deck is designed for easy discharge of fines and oversize leaving the middle deck for ejection of good material. To stop the build up of product and prevent ‘plugging’, Gough also included a ball tray fitted below the 100 micron and 500 micron aperture mesh decks and will be complete with charge of cleaning balls.

The Result

Gough Engineering has worked on numerous applications that involved the recycling and recovery of waste glass. In order to ensure that your end product is of high quality, the user must ensure that there are no foreign contaminations within the batch of product and that the entire product is a similar size and shape. With products such as the Gough Linear Screen and Vibrecon Classifier, the customer is assured of a quality end product.
