Fabricator/Welder
Full job description
We are now seeking Fabricators/Welders to join the great team at Gough Engineering, working mainly with stainless steel fabrications. We have an excellent factory with modern office and production environments and good lighting, extraction and heating.
We are recruiting for experienced sheet metal fabricator/MIG/TIG welders to join our friendly and experienced team. The main role will be the fabrication of components for our own designed machinery used by customers in the food, chemical, plastic and recycling industries.
Additional training and development is available, for the right candidates. Work will be carried out in accordance with all appropriate safety standards and in a clean, modern and warm factory.
Job Responsibility:
- You must be able to read technical drawings and work accordingly.
- You will be experienced in MIG/TIG welding processes in carbon and stainless steels.
- You should produce a quality finished weld deposition, with good penetration and finish.
- You will be required to fabricate sheet metal work mostly in 1mm-3mm stainless steel components to a high-quality standard.
- Sub-assembly experience is extremely desirable.
