Commissioning and maintenance of your Gough machinery
Gough Engineering's Parts & Service team is here to help you with advice, servicing, checkups and reports. We can supply any necessary parts to keep your Gough equipment working well for many years without problems.
Gough's team commissions and services a wide range of equipment including conveyor systems, industrial sieves, bulk handling systems and more. We'll help ensure optimal performance throughout your equipment's life cycle with our expert maintenance services.
Material handling equipment installation
We will install the machine correctly within your production line, including custom designed equipment, ensuring the installation is done to the highest standards.
Gough Engineering has installed and serviced hundreds of machines in the UK and other countries. We design, manufacture and install a range of equipment. We can integrate bucket elevator and vibrator feeder systems, FIBC big bag dischargers, and more into your line, providing ongoing maintenance to keep them running efficiently.
Our flexible engineering team can install and start your plant to make sure it works just the way you want, and we also offer follow-up maintenance to ensure continued performance. Gough also assists and guides you in checking that your equipment is performing as intended and offers advice on servicing schedules.
CE Certification
Before sending out the machines, Gough Engineering's Technical Director checks them and applies or issues the necessary CE Certification/markings. We also provide commissioning, installation, and maintenance engineer services to test and optimise machinery settings at clients' facilities before and after the actual product delivery.
We then implement the machine properly and safely, making it ready for use and cost effective in operation, and easy to maintain for ongoing servicing.
Commissioning
Gough's commissioning services include installing and testing your system or machines prior to installation.
All equipment is quality inspected and test run before delivery, and we offer factory acceptance testing in-house at our site in Stafford and a full mechanical installation service. During the commissioning stage, we will make any adjustments needed to ensure the system is ready for operation and servicing.
When you commission your equipment from Gough Engineering, you benefit from decades of experience in industrial processes. We make sure your equipment works as intended, following the plan and specifications.
We will secure it in position and fit all removable parts. Once everything is installed and the machine is ready to go, then we'll check that it is working properly. We ensure that the machine is working to its full potential before leaving site.
What is industrial maintenance?
Taking good care of your material handling equipment by doing regular industrial maintenance and keeping it clean is important. It helps make sure your machine works its best and minimises any problems with production.
That's why it's important to set up a system to check equipment regularly for signs of wear. This helps avoid unexpected breakdowns and keeps production going smoothly.
Parts like chains, ropes, and those in direct contact with the product need replacing regularly. When choosing a supplier for equipment, consider one that offers a good support service and has spare parts easily available.
Regular service checks
Gough can perform regular servicing and maintenance checks on your machine to keep it working to the highest standard. Our specialists keep your equipment running optimally in demanding or heavy duty applications involving high speed, high temperatures, centrifugal force linear vibrations and more.
The service checks also allow us to identify any parts that may need replacing. Gough Engineering can fit any replacement parts you purchase, ensuring proper installation and functioning. We help minimise downtime in the production process.
Cleaning
Owners of the machine must make sure that skilled cleaners, who are properly trained and instructed in removing and replacing buckets, follow a routine set by the owner.
It's important to have a system to make sure the cleaning operator is trained. There should also be a clear process to ensure that the cleaning methods match the machine's purpose, scheduled times, and handling operations.
