Newly appointed Sales Manager Miles Cottrell began his working life at Vodafone, Stoke-on-Trent where his passion for sales was born. This drive for sales then moved to a successful career in the Metal Stockholding industry serving customers in his territory.
After 10 years in numerous senior sales positions Miles now wants to use everything he’s learned and provide new growth at Gough Engineering, taking over from Andy Woodford, Gary Collier and Darryl Smith.
‘The material handling industry is interesting for me in many ways, in particlar the types of specialised technology made by Gough Engineering in providing effective and efficient value adding processes such as sieving, separating, bucket elevators and more. The integration into new and existing production systems also provides a challenge that we can meet with the engineering know how at Gough’s.’
His interests outside of work include Carp Angling and Italian food supplemented by a nice, cold bottle of Appletiser.
