Ultrasonic Screening Information

Small aperture screening meshes can often become blocked (or blinded) with product, as material plugs in the holes of the mesh and fails to fall through. As an increasing percentage of the screen’s holes become plugged, the potential throughput rate of the screen lowers and the efficiency of the screening process is severely reduced.

The Ultrasonic Screening System applies an ultra-high frequency vibration to the screening mesh via a resonator ring built into the screen frame which prevents any product being caught and building up in the mesh aperture.

The system has been applied to both circular sieves and linear screens, and can be retrofitted to existing systems or built in from new.
