Project Description:
Gough Engineering has completed a project of multiple Through Sieves screening ground coffee at high volumes. The German client produces powdered beverages to the European market and required a screener to sift through all of their powdered products before they went into packaging.

Solution:
Gough manufactured four Vibraflo® Through Sieves that were set to screen 5,000 Kgs per hour on 24 hour cycles. The long term customer was impressed with the designed space reduction and increased capacity scalping. Driven by two contra rotating motors on the outside of the unit, the sifters have no internal working parts and with a bespoke number of decks, multiple meshes can sift through different sized particles and output them to another part of the process.

Results & Conclusions:
Ideal for the Food, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries the Gough Vibraflo® Through Screen is an industry must for any scalping or de‐watering operation.
