Project Description:
A Chemicals company in Bradford required a low maintenance, hazard free conveyor system that could be controlled at variable speed rates depending on production throughputs.

Solution:
The horizontal tubular vibratory conveyor will be carrying Polyacrylamide, a highly absorbent powder used to coagulate solids in a liquid in the treatment of wastewater. The substance is not toxic but needs to be handled with caution avoiding contact with the skin; something that the Gough horizontal tubular conveyor can achieve with no internal screws it will not need internal maintenance.

Results & Conclusions:
The product moves at 28 Tonnes per hour and has a particle size of around 0.5 to 1.5mm. The Chemicals producer has purchased numerous tubular conveyors from Gough in recent years as we continue to be their preferred Conveyor manufacturer.
